Plum Borough consists of four fire departments: Unity Station 233, Renton Station 234 Logan’s Ferry Station 235 and Holiday Park Station 236. Renton Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1949 and housed plums first ambulance. Since then we have grown to house three fully equipped, fire suppression and rescue apparatus with over 30 well trained personnel. We average 350 fire calls a year covering: Renton, Briarwood, Woodlawn, The Highlands, Rockland and Rustic Ridge. We also provide mutual aid into Westmoreland county Stations 78 and 20.
